Thanks for your response. I have Microsoft Office 2000 Premium, which works fine in Windows 10. So, I could potentially convert the Microsoft Works documents to Microsoft Word and Excel. I downloaded the convertor, but have not been able to find out if it will work with Microsoft Office 2000. Although the convertor is in my program list, it does not seem to open or do anything
Last time I have seen MS Works was with old PC - version 8 - many many years ago. Not sure if it works on Windows 10 as Windows 10 is special as it might reject quite a lot of old software due to being non-compatible. From what I see during my research for this issue, all that is needed is to just install the software.
Thanks to its support for industry standards, macOS works with virtually all email providers and websites. It also lets you view the most common file types, including Office documents, PDFs, images, text files, MP3s, videos, ZIP files, and more.
Microsoft Works started development as \"Mouseworks\" from \"Productivity Software\", and involved developers of the original Apple II AppleWorks. The first release was in 1986 for the Apple Macintosh. It seems that Microsoft purchased it mainly to compete with Lotus Jazz.
When I began at Microsoft CSEO in 2016, they had already been working on IPv6 in some shape or form for about ten years. They already had their backbone network enabled over IPv6, and they had done work for World IPv6 Day and the IPv6 World Launch and later, in summer 2016, enabled user segments. Now, wireless and wired corporate networks are IPv6-enabled too.
Veronika McKillop works as a Network Architect in Microsoft CSEO. She leads the Enterprise IPv6 efforts with the long-term goal of moving all corporate network services to IPv6-only. Prior to joining Microsoft, Veronika worked in Cisco as a Consulting Systems Engineer in the Global Service Provider team. Veronika chairs the UK IPv6 Council which she founded in order to bring the technical, business and government community together and to progress IPv6 deployments in the UK.
I am a dummy with this type of thing. I need to convert an old works spreadsheet to Excel so I can move it to a new computer that does not have works. This spreadsheet has lots of formulas. There is a LibreOffice program on the computer but most of the ladies at the church that uses the office computer likes Microsoft Excel/Word. Our problem is that we do not have internet yet. We are a very small church and have not had a need for internet. Can you walk me thru the steps. I do not know anything about LibreOffice. I am willing to try to convert because I know it will be hard to redo all the formulas. If you can will you email me the steps to my computer at home. Also if I will need to try the converter first can you tell me how to download it to a Memory Card. Any help you can give me will help.

Yes, that also works. Migration Assistant copies your entire home folder over to the new Mac. When you register newer versions of Office, a file is created in the Group Containers folder noting the software has been activated with a valid key. Since that same data gets copied over to the new Mac, it comes up as already registered.
Nice that MS works this way (in more recent versions of Office). Older versions wouldn't do that as it would create a hash file based on your hardware. Didn't matter that the registration file copied over, it was different hardware and would assume the user was trying to put an illegal copy onto another computer. Hence the need to install Office fresh and just go through the activation routine again.
While they might already have this, I find that Windows has many workspaces and people just end up using one and ignoring the others. A person ends up opening so many windows and then just looking at one screen. It makes them ignore the others. They need to rework it so that this is less likely to happen. It needs to be a bit more user-friendly.
I've used online tech support in the past. It depends on the case. In a few cases, it is informative and in a few cases, it is not. What I notice is that if I am using Windows, from Windows 95 onwards, if I recollect it correctly. As an end-user, there isn't too much of a drastic change in how it works, and as I've used it for 24 years or so, I have every good understanding of the product. 59ce067264
