Omg, how do I get a new custom home? I just downloaded the Sim pack and there is no place in the city to get a new house. Only homes that are there are the old ones that came with the game. I cant figure out how to get a new custom home. Do I have to have an EA account?
I have a Sims 4 disk with the x64 patch, and I'm having problems installing mods. I have the Sims 4 folder in My Documents, rather than the game folder. The mods folder is located in My Documents, rather than the actual game folder. Is there a way to get around this?

I have the Sims 4 disk that I just bought and I can't install mods because the mods folder is located in My Documents. I have read the instructions and tried to follow them exactly as I can and it's not working. I've tried following instructions on forums and youtube but can't get it to work. Any ideas?
1. EA/Maxis refuse to support or even acknowledge the existence of mods for the Sims 3. There is no mod portal, no support for custom content, no support for creating custom content. If you want to mod a game that you bought, you'll have to know how to do it yourself.
I downloaded the base game, and I want to install custom content into it (mods). I already have several mods installed (mods) and I would like to add more to the game. To add the mods into the game, I download them from http://www.sims3mods.com/. I then extract the files into the Mods folder in the base game installation folder. The mods I add can be found here: http://www.sims3mods.com/wiki/Mod_List. So, now that I have the mods extracted and into the Mods folder, I need to add them into the base game of The Sims 3. The mods have to be placed into the Mods folder in the base game installation folder. If they are not placed in the Mods folder, they will not be available for the game. 827ec27edc
